Go Sara!!!!
All politics aside I would like to just address a few things here I feel strongly about.
From a woman, myself, who has made almost every wrong choice available, you name it and I have most likely been there done that! I would just like to say to the good women of the world, I am sorry for my actions, for it is women who behave like I have in the past, who ultimately give women like Sara Palin a bad taste in society's mouth. The poor choices I have made have been through weakness and ignorance that I can and cannot explain.
What I do know is no matter what comes out of this election, Sara Palin will never betray who she is the way I did, because she lives in a very real tangible solid grounded world supported by her faith. And her fate is decided, no matter what happens this fall.
Years ago I decided to clean up my life and stop doing stupid things that were not honorable to God or to myself. Can you imagine please, if only just for a moment, how much I really appreciate a woman and others like her who skipped all the pain I put myself through by just being herself and honoring God and herself in the process.
A good friend of mine once said to me. With all the good choices that we make in life, that somehow go wrong, why on earth would we purposely make a choice that we know is bad. That single comment from a person of a very different based faith ultimately was a catalyst in my life and helped me find the strength to strive to be a better woman. A Huge Thank you Deanne Mecham for not being afraid to share her faith and motivations with me for I have struggled all my life with poor choices. For in that sharing of faith, I have found my faith and I can only hope to be able to be a light in someone else’s life because of my faith in God and in myself.
Make no mistake, Sara Palin is a better woman and I salute her for her outstanding choices in her life including the “choice” to not abort her beautiful baby Trig.
Respectfully your friend,
Rita Ryan
